The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is deeply saddened by the loss of Marion Bogo, O.C., LLD, MSW, who passed away on September 26, 2021. As a professor of social work at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto, she was known for her tireless commitment to advancing social work education and her groundbreaking contributions to improving the way competence is assessed in social work students.
