UGA SSW to Develop Recovery Assessment Tool
The University of Georgia’s School of Social Work is collecting data to develop an assessment tool to address issues of peer support for people in addiction or mental health recovery throughout Georgia. The 16-month long research project will assist the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and state policymakers in identifying issues that cause people who are in recovery to end up in hospitals, in jails, or homeless. Learn more about the school’s assessment tool here.
