Volume 2015, Issue 1

CSWE Co-Sponsor PCPCC Publication

CSWE co-sponsored a recent publication, Progress and Promise: Profiles in Interprofessional Health Training to Deliver Patient-Centered Primary Care. This was an initiative of the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC) that highlights the interprofessional education (IPE) efforts at seven sites across the country. Social work was represented in the report writing by CSWE and NASW. Most of the sites include social workers as a member of the care team and one site, University of Texas at Austin, is led by the school of social work. You can find the report here. For even more resources on IPE check the training database on the PCPCC website and be sure to submit your own program if it is not already included.
