CSWE Observes Black History Month
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by Black Americans and institutions and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. The Council on Social Work Education is pleased to celebrate Black History Month by recognizing influential Black social work educators and their contributions to the profession as well as the importance of the historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the United States, which were established with the intention of serving the Black community.
