WHO:

Five New Fellows for the 2010–2011 Minority Fellowship Program Cohort.

WHAT:

Fellowships funded by the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration.

WHEN:

The five fellowships occur during the 2010–2011 academic year.

WHERE:

The five new fellows are from throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

  • Elizabeth Circo (University of Washington)
  • Joseph DeFilippis (Portland State University)
  • Dione King (University of Georgia)
  • JoAnn Lee (University of Washington)
  • Veronica Luzunaris-Roman (University of Puerto Rico–Rio Piedras)
  • Yamile Marti (Columbia University)

WHY:

These new fellows were selected for their commitment to excellence in mental health and substance abuse services and research that will improve the social well-being of minority communities. Each fellow will actively participate in providing research that furthers social work scholarship.
