The National Nominating Committee is seeking nominations of qualified candidates to serve as chair-elect for CSWE’s Board of Directors. The chair-elect serves as a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for 1 year during the current chair’s final year, and then begins a 3-year term as chair the following year. The timing of this term coincides with the development of the next strategic plan for the organization and will be instrumental in establishing direction and priorities that support the mission and vision of CSWE.
The chair’s responsibilities are as follows:
- Preside at meetings of the membership, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee
- Ensure the correct implementation of the organizational bylaws
- Make appointments to commissions, councils, and nonelected committees in consultation with the president/CEO
- Serve ex officio on all commissions, councils, and committees (except the Nominating Committee and those commissions and committees charged with responsibility for accreditation or other approval or certification of educational programs)
- Meet regularly with the president/CEO and facilitate an annual performance review

National Nominating Committee accepts nominations and self-nominations submitted through the
FluidReview system. Nominations are due by Monday, October 2.
