Gero-Ed Track Kick-Off Panel—e-Frontiers: Navigating Aging Through Technology
Technology is paving the way for older adults who seek to age in place. Social workers must be informed about these emerging technologies so they can best address the complex medical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of older adults and their caregivers and influence how these technologies are implemented. Learn more about these issues at the CSWE Gero-Ed Track Kick-Off event, e-Frontiers: Navigating Aging Through Technology, as we take a closer look at aging-in-place technologies and the important role social work can play in shaping future developments. Discover how research informs practice with experts David Lindeman (Center for Technology and Aging) and Debra Parker Oliver (University of Missouri). The panel will be held Friday, October 16 from 11:00 am–12:00 pm, with 1 CE hour available through the Approved Continuing Education Program offered by CSWE (CE registration required).
