The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) invites proposals for the 64th Annual Program Meeting (APM) November 8–11 in Orlando, Florida. The conference theme, Expanding Interprofessional Education to Achieve Social Justice, reflects a call to action for social work educators to infuse interprofessional education (IPE) into curricula to prepare students for collaborative practice focused on social justice. The conference will focus on ways social work educators can expand IPE beyond health care and identify how we learn about, from, and with other professions to achieve social justice. The conference will consider how all levels of social work education contribute and provide leadership to the essential elements of effective team-based practice models through IPE involving social work, while threading the micro–macro practice continuum to achieve social justice.
