West Virginia University
The goal of West Virginia University’s BEL project was to provide students with exposure to older adults through policy exercises designed to influence social policy that impact older adults. The project involved students in a Social Welfare Policy and Services II course. BEL project students engaged in legislative letter writing and writing letters to the on aging issues and worked with community partners who were over the age of 60.
