Gero-Ed Track Events at CSWE 2013 APM

The 2013 APM Gero-Ed Track is pleased to offer exciting events at this year’s meeting, including the Gero-Ed Track Kick-Off Panel highlighting trauma and aging, a Gerontology Education Consultants session with four seasoned faculty, an annual AGESW reception featuring the Dallas Tap Dazzlers, and much more!

Gerontology Education Consultants at APM

Gero-Ed Center Consultants will be available onsite at APM to answer questions related to infusing gerontology into courses or designing specialized gerontology coursework. The following consultants will be available on Friday, November 1 from 4:45 pm–5:45 pm CDT: Kristina Hash (West Virginia University), Nancy Kelly-Gillespie (University of Nebraska at Omaha), Penelope Moore (Iona College), and Lois Pierce (University of Missouri, St. Louis).

CSWE Gero-Ed Center Awarded NY Community Trust Grant

The Partnerships for Person-Centered and Participant-Directed Long-Term Services and Supports project will build the BSW and MSW workforce pipeline for Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) and, more broadly, for the Aging and Disabilities Network. Read the press release for more details.
