Exhibitor Student Xchange
The APM Exhibit Hall will be open to students only from 8:00 am–10:00 am on Sunday, November 3 for the Exhibitor Student Xchange, where they will have a special opportunity to meet and network with the 102 exhibitors in attendance. In addition, CSWE will be giving away a free iPad Mini; breakfast will be available.

Feminist Scholarship Award
The 2013 Feminist Scholarship honoree is Sadye L. M. Logan (University of South Carolina) and the award in her name will be given to Candace Christensen (Idaho State University) for her 2013 APM accepted paper, "Engaging Theatre for Social Change to Address Sexual Violence on College Campuses: A Qualitative Investigation." Both will be recognized at the Women’s Council Networking Breakfast.
SOGE Scholarship Award
The 2013 Sexual Orientation and Gender Expression (SOGE) Scholarship Award winners are Lisa N. Langenderfer, N. Eugene Walls, Darren L. Whitfield, Samantha M. Brown (all from the University of Denver), and Cory M. Barrett (The GLBT Community Center of Colorado); the 2013 SOGE Honorable Mention will be presented to M. Alex Wagaman (Virginia Commonwealth University). Join us to celebrate the SOGE awardees at the LGBT Caucus/CSOGE Reception.
Sex-Trafficking Documentary Receives CSWE Virtual Ovation Award
Behind Closed Doors: Voices From the Inside, a documentary on domestic minor sex-trafficking by a student–faculty team from University of Texas at San Antonio, has won the CSWE 2013 Virtual Ovation Award. See the film at the APM on Saturday, November 2, at 5:00 pm in the Hilton Anatole’s Metropolitan Ballroom and participate in a Q&A with Robert Ambrosino, one of the filmmakers.
Domestic Violence Film Q&A, CSWE 2013 Film Festival
Anna Radev, program director at the nonprofit Children of Domestic Violence, will answer questions after the two screenings of The Children Next Door, one of the films in the CSWE 2013 Film Festival at the APM. See film clips and view the full screening schedule here.
