The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) has compiled a set of toolkits and presentation materials provided by the US. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to address ACA issues. NASW/CSWE/SSWLHC Joint Letter—Expansion of Medicaid
This letter and background data (PDF) was sent to over 300 CSWE program member chairs to encourage social work programs to engage students in discussion of the meaning and value of Medicaid expansion at the state level.
Assessing Health Professional Education: A Workshop
An ad hoc committee of the Institute of Medicine convened and conducted a 2-day workshop in October 2013 to consider and discuss assessment methods and tools that have an impact, are affordable, are easily integrated into education, and assess competencies at micro, meso and macro levels in health and healthcare environments.
