2015 Spring Governance Meeting Convenes CSWE Leaders

The 2015 CSWE Spring Governance Meeting brought together more than 50 members representing five commissions and the Board of Directors in Alexandria, VA, to collaborate and address issues in social work education; the commissions used this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion, to further their respective charges, and to contribute to CSWE’s Strategic Plan. The luncheon keynote address  of Alexis D. Bakos, senior adviser to the deputy assistant secretary for minority health in the Office of Minority Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, encouraged social work educators to display their vigorous commitment to reduce health disparities; read more here.
