The New York Community Trust has released new guidelines for grants that aim to make the social work profession more effective in addressing systemic social problems. They are interested in funding projects that build an evidence base for social work intervention, innovate in the classroom and the field and connect training and research to communities, make macro practice a priority and improve training in policy, management, and leadership, and support research that helps social workers improve practice and addresses larger social issues.

The American Psychological Foundation (APF) is now accepting applications for the 2012 APF Lizette Peterson Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant. The grant is open to both students and faculty to support university-based research into the psychological and behavioral aspects of injury prevention for children and adolescents; click here to apply.
