Registration Categories

Registration rates for the 2014 Annual Program Meeting vary by registration category. Please see the definitions below to determine which category is appropriate to select.

A. CSWE Individual Member Registration Categories (Four Options)

To qualify for a discounted individual membership registration rate, you will be required to provide your membership ID number and have your member dues paid in full through October 31, 2014. For more details visit CSWE Individual Membership Categories and Dues.

  1. Full Member: Faculty and Administrator
    Members are persons holding paid faculty, administrative, or managerial appointments in programs accredited by CSWE.
  2. Full Member: Individual
    Individual Members are individuals affiliated with national, state, local, voluntary, public social welfare, and other professional social work organizations; field instructors with educational responsibilities for students in social work undergraduate and graduate programs; and others who wish to support social work education through membership in CSWE.
  3. Associate Member: Emeritus
    Emeritus Members are emeritus faculty or administrators from CSWE accredited programs and those programs in candidacy status.
  4. Associate Member: Student (Two Levels: Undergraduate/Graduate and Doctoral)
    • Student members are full-time and part-time students. A student member cannot hold a full-time academic appointment. Student enrollment verification will be required for each student membership application and renewal.
    • Documentation of 1) student enrollment status with projected graduation date and 2) confirmation the student does not hold a full-time academic appointment is to be sent to the StudentMember@cswe.org mailbox.
    • Confirmation of student membership will be sent after review of the required documentation.

B. Nonmember Registration Categories (Eight Options)

  1. Exhibit Hall Only
    This type of registration is not available in advance of the APM. It can be purchase only on-site at the meeting. Access is limited to exhibit hall only during posted hours for nonexhibitor conference attendees. Accepted 2013 APM presenters are ineligible to register for the APM using this category. The presenter session locations are held outside the exhibit hall.
  2. Higher Education Librarian
    Full-time or part-time librarian employed by a higher education institution.
  3. Individuals From Economically Lesser-Developed Countries
    These reduced registration fees are for individuals coming from countries OTHER THAN Andorra; Aruba; Australia; Austria; The Bahamas; Bahrain; Barbados; Belgium; Bermuda; Brunei Darussalam; Canada; Cayman Islands; Channel Islands; Chile; Croatia; Curaçao; Cyprus; Czech Republic; Denmark; Equatorial Guinea; Estonia; Faeroe Islands; Finland; France; French Polynesia; Germany; Greece; Greenland; Guam; Hong Kong, China; Iceland; Ireland; Isle of Man; Israel; Italy; Japan; Korea, Rep.; Kuwait; Latvia; Liechtenstein; Lithuania; Luxembourg; Macao, China; Malta; Monaco; Netherlands; New Caledonia; New Zealand; Northern Mariana Islands; Norway; Oman; Poland; Portugal; Puerto Rico; Qatar; Russian Federation; San Marino; Saudi Arabia; Singapore; Sint Maarten; Slovak Republic; Slovenia; Spain; St. Kitts and Nevis; St. Martin; Sweden; Switzerland; Trinidad and Tobago; Turks and Caicos Islands; United Arab Emirates; United Kingdom; United States; Uruguay; and Virgin Islands (United States)
    • Classifications are based on the World Bank Country Classifications
    • Nationals from countries listed on this link who are currently in the United States and working/studying in a U.S. agency need to register using the regular registration fee and do not qualify for this discounted rate.
  4. Nonmember
  5. Practitioner or Academician in Non-Social Work Field
    Full-time practitioner who does not hold an academic appointment in social work or a full-time practitioner or an academician in an allied discipline.
  6. Social Work Practitioner
    Full-time social worker who does not hold an academic appointment or works for a public or private human service organization.
  7. Student Nonmember
    Full-time and part-time students who are not CSWE members. A student nonmember cannot hold a full-time academic appointment. Documentation of 1) student enrollment status with projected graduation date and 2) confirmation the student does not hold a full-time academic appointment is to be sent to theapmregistration@jspargo.com mailbox or faxed to +1.703.631.6288.
  8. Accompanying Persons
    Accompanying persons are defined as nonpresenters, non-social work educators or members of program administration, nonpractitioners, or nonstudents who may be traveling with a CSWE meeting participant. Accompanying persons are those who do not have a professional interest in attending any functions at the APM and its affiliated meetings.

C. APM Student Volunteer (This registration option closed on July 2, 2014)

By helping with tasks crucial to the conference's success for 4 consecutive hours on either Friday, October 24 or Saturday, October 25, 100 student volunteers receive a discounted full-conference student registration of $40. As applies to student member and student nonmember registration categories, documentation of 1) student enrollment status with projected graduation date and 2) confirmation the student does not hold a full-time academic appointment is to be sent to the apmregistration@jspargo.com mailbox or faxed to +1.703.631.6288.

D. Exhibitor Registration

Exhibitor registration also opens in April. The two complimentary full conference registrations and two exhibit hall-only registrations can only be redeemed on the 2014 APM Exhibitor Registration site by the decision maker listed on exhibitor accounts.
