Paper
Paper sessions are 90 minutes in length.
They are structured as groups of three accepted papers on a common theme. Each paper will be allocated 20 minutes of a 90-minute session that will include all three paper presenters and a session chair volunteer assigned by the APM staff.
- Paper proposals should detail the focus of the paper and the way(s) in which it contributes to a body of knowledge.
- The primary presenter will coordinate the paper presentation including keeping time if there are multiple presenters.
- Although a presenter(s) may opt to take questions during presentation time, after 20 minutes the presenter(s) will be asked to cede the floor to the next paper. Once all three papers have been presented, the session chair may provide a brief response to what he or she has heard. The chair will then facilitate a question-and-answer period or general discussion with the audience.
